One day I asked a friend, “Do entertainers want to be sold out because they suffer soul doubt?”

He told me to write it down. So I did. And each time a funny would come into my head I wrote it down. After a point I knew I had to find an illustrator and the one I found was within me. It took well over 500 drawings to capture my style and 108 cartoons found their way into my book “The Contemplative Navel” but they didn’t stop coming. So I have continue to create one-panel cartoons in the spirit of the ones I so dearly love in New Yorker magazine. For me to make somebody laugh, when I am not in the room with them is nothing short of a miraculous. I hope some of these get your giggles going.
